In 1966, John Stevenson and Mr Allenby opened a flooring shop on Town Hall Street, Grimsby. Their approach was straightforward: give honest advice, fit it properly, and stand behind every job. Nothing fancy, just the right thing, done right.
Nearly sixty years later, John's son Jonathon runs the business from the same Victoria Street showroom he's worked in since 1987, and those values haven't shifted an inch.
We supply and install almost every type of flooring, domestic and commercial, serving Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and the wider North East Lincolnshire area, from a single bedroom to 50-bed nursing homes. But what people keep coming back for isn't the range. It's the service.

Practical, durable and expertly fitted. Domestic cushion vinyl flooring options, sometimes referred to as 'lino', for all areas of the home.

Solid and engineered hardwood fitted properly, including moisture testing on new builds. Warm, lasting, and done right first time.

Schools, offices, care homes, hotels, nursing homes. Carpet tiles, safety flooring, stair nosings, full project management, no job too large.

Bespoke rug conversion, custom stair runners, decorative borders, moisture testing and aftercare kits. If it involves flooring, we can almost certainly do it.

Measure & Quote
A full site survey checking subfloor conditions, levels and precise measurements. Your quote details every material and process, no vague estimates, no surprises when the invoice arrives.

Expert Installation
50% deposit to order materials, then we agree a date. Our own employed fitters do all the works. You pay the balance only when you're satisfied.

Aftercare & Guarantee
A 2-year installation guarantee, twice the industry standard. Care kits, and a team that picks up the phone if anything ever isn't right.

Anyone can sell you flooring, the difference is in how it's measured, prepared and fitted, and that's not something you can see on a website or a price list.
Every border, every seam, every stair runner is fitted by someone who works for us, knows our standards, and has our name behind them. All fitting costs are included and covered in your quote with us. We're not a store that sells you a floor and recommends a fitter, we do it all.
